the last bent smoke from a crumpled marlboro box protruding from the breast pocket of a well worn biker jacket.that opening chord that cuts you straight to the bone.does god ever look upon empty souls?.staring down the train tracks lookin for redemption.rain soaked hair and torn paisley shirt.who am i.or am i dead.you know the answer but you struggle on hoping that you've still to reach the high point of your life.but then you see its already been and gone down the end of the train tracks.but is there hope? you start jogging towards the end of the line.silence! but i dont want that ive had enough silence to last me this life.the jog turns to running inturn turns to sprint.there still no end to these train tracks you can hear the distant chug of the train engine.its whistle blows.time to hold steady.the trains getting closer louder,faster the vibrations from the tracks gets stronger.faster and faster the train is almost upon the tails of my shirt.stop running! walk.bang.sunrise
