Oh yes.. all over the Meditarranean cost you will find loads of places too touristic & crowded!
luckily Spain is diverse and 'big' enough and not too far away from those places you can find others very nice.. Whole Pirineos area must be gorgeous!
btw, I don't know that artist.. Pixtot.. I never heard about him but it's nice that you found connections with him :D

Yes, I always lived here but I felt the need to travel as well.. to know more places and who knows, to live out of here someday BUT only for VERY good reasons! lol

well, I'm not sure how the Catalonian are about that but I guess that they won't talk Catalan coz obviously is more common Spanish.. if you come here to Galicia, people will talk to you in Spanish not Galician even when there are more Catalonian speakers there than Galician ones here :-|
and yes, I know what you mean perfectly.. don't forget that everytime that I speak English.. it's not my language! ;D

wow.. I don't know the area but Girona is one of the places that I want to go some day.. you know, it's one of the farest places in Spain from Vigo! ;D
btw, Figueres is the place where was born Dalí! did you know it? I'm pretty sure that there will be a lot of memories & places to visit about him :-)

No, no vacation for me by now.. I had the last week on July but I'm planing to change it to September to take much more advantage of it ;-))
