Oh my Goooooood! It sounds like an amazing place to work. Hmmmmmm - methinks I should swing by and visit just so I can get a look at all that gorgeous vinyl. I know what you mean about working with guys, I get along much better with men than women for some reason. To be honest, it sounds like a dream job in a lot of ways!

Oh shit! What a nightmare. Looks like everything is on a downward spiral at the moment. I'm just waiting for the same thing to happen here. Glad it worked out that you could find another cool job without too much hassle. So is this the same place that Randy works? How's it going? Still doing the jewellery on the side?

Good to hear from you, all is well and you are welcome. A record store would be a very dangerous place for me to work, hope you like it - sorry your jewelry biz has dropped off so much, bummer. I am always looking for something odd and unusual especially by Queen, Joplin or the Doors. I know its crazy to love the vinyl so. :)

your welcome - sorry you have been having business woes, hate having any problems at work, hope you get them all worked out soon!

Just saw the Black Crowes at Harley along with BRMC, ZZ Top and Gary Allen. I'll see them here in November so I haven't decided if I will go elsewhere or not but I do enjoy going to their shows. Meeting them in your youth, now I am sure that is an interesting story :)

Well you went to Moscow too didn't you?!? It says here that you did! Yeah, I went. Strange place, strange show. The crowd were really enthusiastic though which was nice. Looks like I won't be seeing BRMC for a very long time now though :((( That acoustic show nearly had me in tears!!

It is pretty hot here, but we've been getting a lot of rain and thunderstorms as well. Sounds like you are in for some good music and some nice vacation time. Never been to AC, NJ - with the cost of hotel rooms there that could be the reason :) Wish those Black Crowes shows were not during the week or I'd surely make one. Maybe BRMC will come closer your way this year yet!

I know - I can't help but feel that it just won't be the same because I always think of BRMC as the three of them together. I guess I'll find out soon. It's sad to come on here and read so much shit about him, it's turned me into a mother hen!! Defending him at every turn. It would be nice to think he will return to the fold one day but only time will tell. Cripes - I'm nervous!! It feels weird not feeling excited about seeing them.
