I think it looks awesome. I watched it with friends, twice. First in awe-struck silence, then with pointing and saying "ZOMG that's when THAT happens and that when he does THAT and then they do THAT!" I love how recognizable the scenes are. Sadly, Nite Owl's costume still sucks. I hate those ear thingies. But I love him. <sigh>

All facets of my dorkage are constantly battling for supremacy. The craft dork is jealous of the comic dork, then the overall-learning dork has to put them in their place and reminds me that I really need to put down the knitting and the books with the nice pictures and study.

I honestly could not give a rat's ass about comic books before I met this guy. Now whenever I see him, he's always found something new for me to read. I resisted for a long time but he convinced me I should try Hellboy and I've been a dork ever since.

Any thoughts on the Watchmen trailer?

I knew you'd love the bit with the rings and the gorgeous shimmery space dust.Cant you nearly feel it as he trails his little funny fingers through?

Anyway,I want to hear the rest of those thoughts you mentioned.Preferably over strong coffee and a huge slice of cake at that bookshop cafe near you?Current restrictions mean I am somewhat...well..restricted, but October is my coming back out into society month so I see no reason not to take in Spalding whilst engaged in the pursuit of pleasure.

Whats happening in your world lately?

Robyn Robyn, Sep-9-08 11.31am
Alright, so, I caved. I read 'em all while staying with my comic pusher.

We should really have our own section of the forum to just talk about really dorky stuff.
