the rebels were awesome, of course! we had a lot of fun, and met some of the great people of the forum. they played a couple new songs, and even a few rare ones.

never got into nick cave...in fact, i'm not sure i've ever listened to him.

feist, yes...my wife enjoys her a lot. i really enjoy her voice, but like her more in broken social scene. some of her solo stuff is good too. good to hear she's making some noise over there!!

hey! elbow was amazing! it's been fun watching them "grow up"...this is the 3rd time i've seen them, and they always seem a bit more comfortable every time. the lead singer (guy) was very talkative with us. and came down into the crowd at the end to shake hands and give hugs while the band finished grace under pressure. it was really a good time. didn't want it to end, that's for sure!!

and now, the rebels tomorrow night. it's a good music week! how are things with you?

well, most people call me mouse on here...hence the name!

i'm doing ok. fighting off the last little bit of a cold. seems to be hanging on here. i feel fine, just have a small runny nose left. sounds like it is the thing to have right now, huh? are you feeling better yet?

what's new? any new music lately? going to see any bands soon? i've been listening to the new raconteurs, kills, sons and daughters and brian jonestown massacre...

The picture is one of my favorie singers - Peter Murphy from Bauhaus. That was probably taken way back in 1987 or 1988. I think it's such a beautiful image.

hi! good to hear from you! glad to hear you had a nice easter. sounds like you had fun and did lots of stuff! it's interesting stepping back and doing things with kids, isn't it? something about it, that just makes you lose track of the world for a while, and feel the innocence that they feel. oh, to be a child again, huh?

Great to hear from you. Sounds like you had a nice holiday, and a fantastic time at the Cure concert! And those are some super cool concerts you will be attending in the near future! I've seen BRMC and MBV, but not Nick Cave. Have you seen him before? I'm curious if he performs any songs by the Birthday Party.

Tonight I am going to see Band Of Horses and Kimya Dawson. It should be a fun show. I just hope it does not rain since it is outdoors.

I've had the flu for over a week, but I think I'm just about over it. There's been an epidemic here over the past few months. Next year I'll be sure to get the vaccine.

What else is new with you? Not much new with me.

me.. tired too! it's not being a holiday at all.. we're doing works at home.. it was necessary so.. no complaints! ;-)

Nice that you enjoyed the concert! I only saw them once, some years ago and yes, I liked it!
it was great to listen their old songs in live :-))
