Nahh, I still feel 'orrid, went to the gig though, God I feel bad for the bands as there was hardly anyone there, of course the usual song stoppage after the intro to Black Cathedral, it's got to the point where the band and us expect something to fuckup with the drumkit in that song. I wish they would play some different songs, i'm bored of the same set all the time. Astral Kaleidoscope were good, only a female singing now & Dolly Rocker singer on drums. Turns out Piers is a rather good bassist as well.
Oh yeah, Sigur Ros film Heima is screening for one night only @ the Chauvel on 29th July, so I will be there & if I can win tix off Brag even better!!
Whom are you seeing in the coming week?

Of course I'll come, haven't seen the Wahas since they supported the Horrors last year so shall I meet you at 8pm out front or earlier, we could always have a bite to eat in the restaurant out back first,

I am feeling a bit too lazy to go as well, but Snowman are heading overseas to live I think so it could be the last time in a long time. You are a busy chicky aren't you, I think I will spend most of Sunday in the city so let me know if you are coming & maybe we can meet up earlier before the gig,

Thanks for the headsup, I haven't managed to grab a Brag or Drum yet this week, but if it's a sales job, I'm not really a salesman. I noticed that the gigs, yes 2 of them with Astral Kaleidoscope @ the Hoey & Excelsior are both not headlines, but the Excelsior gig has the Laurels after them & both supporting the Preytells, so the later Sunday gig seems the best. Still not sure about Snowman, it's only $13, but this week in the city could be awful, & Friday is better for me transportwise, dilemma, dilemma!!
